Learn to make a sweater - Jan 23 and 30, Feb 13 and 20
Saturdays 12:00 - 2:00 $80 - (4 classes + kit)

This class will teach you all the techniques and construction of making a baby sweater over a 4 week period. Prior knitting experience is required. A kit including yarn, pattern and buttons is required for the class. You may bring needles size 5 and 7.

Finishing - Saturday Jan 9 10:00 - 12:00 $25
Learn techniques for finishing your knitting items. Homework to bring to class is swatches using light colored worsted weight yarn using a size 6 or 7 needle.
Swatch 1 - 4 identical swatches: cast on 20 stitches, K1, P1 for one inch then stockinette stitch (knit 1 row, purl 1 row) for 4 inches. Bind off.

Swatch 2 - 2 identical swatches - 20 stitches in garter stitches for 5 inches. Bind off.
Swatch 3 - 2 identical swatches - 20 stitches in K1, P1 for one inch then stockinet stitch for one inch. Don’t bind off - leave on needles.

Knit one below - Saturday Jan 16 10:00 - 12:00 $20
New technique using 2 different colors to create fun color ways. Need to bring two different solid colors worsted weight yarn and size 6 or 7 circular or double point needles.
